Have those extra files or books stored in the garage?  Hope you don't need them anytime soon.  These pictures were taken in a house in Raleigh, NC during a routine termite inspection.  The termites were eating all the cellulose (wood based) papers/books/files in the stored boxes.  Make sure your home is protected from the damage of termites!!

We saw this situation in a house that we were treating for termites.  The cabinet was pushed against the garage wall.  We could not see any termite evidence until we moved the cabinet.  Look close and see the termites eating the label off of the insecticide bottle.  Strange things indeed!
